The Moroccan Ministry of Justice is opening applications for vacant leadership positions as part of its ongoing policy to enhance the judicial system and value administrative competencies. The vacant positions include one department head position and eight service head positions distributed across various courts throughout the Kingdom. The sole department head position is for the head of the public prosecutor's office at the Casablanca Criminal Court of First Instance, while service head positions are distributed across courts in Azrou, R'manni, Al Hoceima, Azilal, Fquih Ben Salah, Souk El Arbaa du Gharb, Souk Sebt Oulad Nemma, and Oujda.
The Ministry of Justice has established precise conditions for applying to these leadership positions. For the department head position, candidates must be ranked at least at the level of second-class judicial delegate, or first-class state engineer, or in one of the grades with equivalent ranking. They must also hold a certificate or diploma allowing access to third-class judicial delegate or equivalent grade, with four years of effective service as permanent staff or five years for contractual agents, in addition to previous experience in service head functions.
For service head positions, the same academic qualifications are required with two years of effective service as permanent staff or three years for contractual agents. Civil servants currently performing department head or service head functions may also apply for these positions.
Interested candidates must obtain the application form from the Human Resources Directorate website drh.justice.gov.ma and complete mandatory electronic registration on the dedicated platform. Electronic registration begins on July 29, 2026 and ends on March 9, 2026 at 3:00 PM. Required documents must be sent to the Human Resources Directorate - Personnel Division - Leadership Positions Management Service no later than April 12, 2026.
The Ministry of Justice will appoint a special committee to conduct selection interviews in accordance with Decree No. 2.11.681, where the date and location of these interviews will be determined later. The selection process is based on comprehensive evaluation of applications and personal interviews to ensure the selection of the most qualified competencies for these leadership positions.
