The Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports has opened applications for the prestigious position of General Inspector. Key Responsibilities and Duties

The General Inspector will exercise competencies outlined in Decree No. 2.11.112 of 20 Rajab 1432 (June 23, 2011) concerning general inspections of ministries. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring proper implementation of legislative and regulatory texts in the education sector
  • Monitoring and auditing public fund management and government contracts
  • Investigating complaints and grievances from citizens and ministry employees
  • Following up on recommendations from financial courts and oversight institutions
  • Coordinating with the Ombudsman Institution, Supreme Audit Institution, and General Finance Inspectorate
  • Promoting professional ethics and detecting conflicts of interest among staff

Eligibility Requirements

The ministry has established specific criteria for candidates:

  • Moroccan nationality
  • Membership in senior cadres of the state, public sector, or private sector
  • Classification in scale 11 minimum or equivalent grade
  • Recognized higher education diploma
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience
  • At least 3 years in leadership roles at central director or division chief level
  • Knowledge of administrative, legal, financial, and accounting management domains

Application Process and Timeline

Candidates must prepare a complete application file containing:

  • Application request signed by administrative hierarchy with approval from current administration
  • Motivation letter explaining candidacy reasons
  • Standard application form with recent photograph
  • Detailed curriculum vitae following specified template
  • Certified copies of obtained diplomas and certificates
  • Any documents proving fulfillment of required conditions

Paper and digital files must be submitted to Office No. 26 of the Ministry's General Secretariat at Bab Rouah in Rabat, from March 19, 2026 until April 3, 2026 at 4:30 PM.

Selection Process and Interviews

A special committee will be formed to review applications and conduct selection interviews.
