The Ministry of Health and Social Protection, through the Regional Directorate of Health and Social Protection for the Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab region, is holding a recruitment competition for 50 posts at the first grade of nurse (scale 10) within the nursing and health technician corps. Successful candidates will be assigned within the territorial jurisdiction of that regional directorate. The competition carries code C 44463/26 and will take place on Sunday, 22 November 2026 at nine o'clock in the morning at the Dakhla centre.
The announcement concerns holders of nursing and health technology diplomas in specified specialties. The posts are divided between the nursing cadre and the health technician cadre, in line with the annexed distribution table. This is an opportunity for candidates wishing to work within the public health system in the southern region of the Kingdom.
The number of posts open to competition is set at 50, distributed by each of the above-mentioned cadres and by the required specialties, in accordance with the annexed table. The following table shows the specialties and the number of posts attached to each, as they appear in the source document:
| Specialty | Number of posts |
|---|---|
| Nurse in geriatric care | 4 |
| Nurse specialising in kidney disease and haemodialysis | 5 |
| Nurse specialising in surgical operations | 4 |
| Nurse in family health and community health | 4 |
| Radiology technician | 4 |
| Nurse in mental health | 6 |
| Nurse in neonatal and paediatric care | 6 |
| Nursing cadre | 10 |
| Pharmacy technician | 2 |
| Laboratory technician | 5 |
The announcement also refers to the specialty "inf polyvalent" in the general specialty field, while the annexed table sets out the detailed distribution above. Candidates must therefore identify precisely the cadre and specialty to which their diploma corresponds when registering, since the competition is organised separately for each cadre.
The competition is open to candidates of Moroccan nationality who are at least 18 and at most 45 years old on 1 January of the current year, and who hold either a licence diploma awarded by one of the higher institutes of nursing professions and health techniques, or the State diploma of the first cycle of paramedical studies awarded by one of the institutes for the training of health-sector cadres under the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, or one of the diplomas recognised as equivalent in accordance with the regulatory provisions in force.
Candidates holding diplomas not awarded by the higher institutes of nursing professions and health techniques or by the institutes for the training of health-sector cadres under the Ministry must submit a copy certified true to the original of the diploma in the required specialty, accompanied by a copy of the equivalence decision published in the Official Bulletin and the documents listed in that equivalence decision. This rule applies specifically to that category of diploma holders and is not a general condition for all candidates.
Of the posts open, 25% are reserved for persons holding the status of resistance fighter, ward of the Nation, former soldier or former combatant, and 7% of the posts are reserved for persons with disabilities. These two shares are independent: the 7% is calculated on all open posts, not on the 25% share.
The application file consists of the following documents; any file missing a required document is void:

The competition comprises two tests, each marked out of 20; any mark equal to or below 5 out of 20 is eliminatory:
For each cadre, the list of successful candidates is drawn up within the limit of the number of posts open to competition, together with a waiting list, ranked by merit, among candidates who obtained an overall average of at least 10 out of 20 in the two tests without any eliminatory mark.
Salary: from 6500 to 9000 MAD per month, at the first grade of nurse, scale 10.
To prepare effectively for this competition, candidates may organise their preparation around the nature of the two announced tests, on the understanding that this preparation is separate from the official conditions:
