A certificate of success alone is not taken into account, and no diploma or certificate that does not match the required level or specialty will be accepted. For diplomas that do not state the specialty or stream, an attestation issued by the relevant university institution clearly indicating the specialty or stream must be attached.
The exam is open to candidates who meet the following conditions:

In addition to the required documents, candidates definitively admitted in this exam are required to complete their files with the administrative documents legally required for appointment to the public service.
Applications are submitted directly to the commune's registry office, in a large envelope bearing the candidate's full name and address and the specialty applied for, against a receipt. They may also be sent in the name of the council president by registered post to the following address: Toundout commune headquarters, Imghrane caidat, cercle and province of Ouarzazate.
Applications are accepted from the date of publication of the decision until Friday 20 November 2026 at 16:30, the final deadline for receiving and submitting applications, during public administration working hours. For applications received by post before the final list of participants is drawn up, the date of the postal stamp is taken into account.
Any file missing the required documents or submitted after the deadlines above will be excluded.
The exam includes a written test and an oral or practical test, or both, whose durations and coefficients are set as follows:
| Test | Duration | Coefficient |
|---|---|---|
| Written test | — | — |
| Oral or practical test, or both | Between 15 and 45 minutes | 3 |
The written test covers a topic related to the duties or posts to be filled or to the competences of the territorial collectivity. In the oral or practical test, the panel discusses various topics and issues with the candidate or subjects them to a practical test in the required specialty, or both. The written test is marked out of 20.
Candidates who obtain an average of at least 12 out of 20 in the written test qualify to sit the oral test.
The panel draws up the list of successful candidates within the number of advertised posts, together with a waiting list, ranked by merit, among candidates who obtain an overall average of at least 10 out of 20.
If, when verifying participation conditions, it emerges that a candidate already declared successful does not meet one or more of the required conditions, they are replaced, in order and according to merit, by a candidate on the waiting list who meets those conditions.
The list of candidates admitted to sit the exam and the announcement of results will be published on the public employment website, on the portal of the General Directorate of Territorial Collectivities, and on the two electronic portals of the relevant territorial collectivity and of the relevant prefecture or province, where available. This publication serves as a convocation for candidates to sit the exam.
The exam will take place at Chahid El Madani Chafik middle school in Toundout commune, Ouarzazate province, or at other institutions where necessary.
