Reopening of Call for Applications for Head of Development and Equipment Division at Gueznaia Commune

In line with the provisions of the Organic Law on Communes and the decrees governing appointment to senior positions in territorial collectivities, the Commune of Gueznaia (Prefecture of Tanger-Asilah) announces the reopening of applications for the position of Head of the Development and Equipment Division. This recruitment aims to attract qualified and experienced professionals capable of driving local development initiatives efficiently.

Eligibility Criteria

The position is open to permanent civil servants and contractual agents working in public administrations or territorial collectivities, provided they meet the following conditions:

  • Be classified in the grade of Senior Inspector (2nd grade), State Engineer, or an equivalent grade.
  • Hold at least a degree or diploma allowing access to the grade of Inspector (3rd grade).
  • Have at least 4 years of actual service as a permanent employee, or 5 years for contractual agents.
  • Have previously served as Head of Service (this condition may be waived if required by the interest of the service).
  • Employees currently serving as Head of Division may apply directly.

Key Responsibilities

The Head of Development and Equipment Division will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring local development programs, overseeing infrastructure projects, coordinating with institutional partners, and leading the teams under their supervision.

Application File

The application file must include the following documents:

  • A formal application letter with a recent photograph, accompanied by the approval and opinion of the direct supervisor.
  • The application form downloaded from the public employment portal www.emploi-public.ma.
  • A detailed curriculum vitae highlighting qualifications, professional experience, and previous positions held.
  • A work plan outlining the proposed methodology for managing and improving the administrative unit.
  • A copy of the degree or diploma, the decision of appointment to the current grade, the decision of appointment to a previous responsibility post (if any), and a copy of the national identity card.

Applications must be submitted in four copies to the registry office of the Commune of Gueznaia no later than July 20, 2026, during official working hours.

Selection Process

A committee appointed by the President of the Commune Council will review the eligible applications and conduct an interview focusing on the candidates' skills, knowledge of legal and management frameworks of local authorities, and modern public administration techniques.
