Recruitment Competition for Mining Exploration Geologist

The National Office of Hydrocarbons and Mines (ONHYM) announces a recruitment competition under the 2026 framework law for the position of Mining Exploration Geologist (2 positions). This competition aims to attract highly skilled geologists to contribute to Morocco's mining sector development.

Eligibility Conditions

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Moroccan nationality.
• Aged between 18 and 45 by December 31, 2026.
• Hold a State Engineer, Master's, or PhD degree (Bac+5) in one of these specializations: Geology, Geosciences, Geo-resources, Metallogeny, Earth Sciences, or Mineral Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of laboratory experience (as mentioned in the announcement for some positions, but not specifically required for this one).

Required Skills

• GIS (Geographic Information Systems).
• Metallogeny.
• English language.
• Analytical and synthesis skills.
• Teamwork, initiative, and autonomy.
