Duties and Responsibilities of the Provincial Director

  • Preparing the provincial school map and identifying the province's needs for school buildings, equipment, and human resources.
  • Monitoring field programs related to literacy and non-formal education.
  • Representing the provincial directorate before any natural or legal person at the provincial level.
  • Supervising administrative services and educational institutions under the provincial directorate's jurisdiction, and promoting their openness to the economic, social, and cultural environment.
  • Monitoring and evaluating pedagogical work in public and private educational institutions at the provincial level.
  • Activating partnership and cooperation initiatives at provincial or local levels.

Generally, the provincial director exercises the powers delegated by the director of the Souss Massa Regional Academy of Education and Training, making this position central to implementing regional educational policies.

Application Requirements

Candidates for the provincial director position must meet several professional and administrative conditions:

  • Be ranked at least at the second-class administrator grade or in the delegate framework, or in one of the oblique indicative grades.
  • Hold at least a certificate or diploma allowing access to the third-class administrator grade or an oblique grade.
  • Have at least four years of service as a tenured employee.
  • Have served as a head of service, with possible exemption from this condition if service interests require it.
  • Have completed at least ten years in the national education and preschool sector.

Tenured civil servants currently serving as division heads may also apply, broadening the pool of qualified candidates for this leadership role.

Applicants must prepare a complete file including the following documents:

  • A written application addressed to the director of the Souss Massa Regional Academy of Education and Training.
  • A motivation letter explaining reasons for applying for the position, in five copies.
  • A curriculum vitae filled out according to the attached model, including a recent photograph, in five copies.
  • A copy of the certificate or diploma obtained that allows access to the third-class administrator grade or an oblique grade, in five copies.
  • A copy of the appointment decision in the required framework and grade or an administrative certificate proving the candidate's administrative status, in five copies.
  • An administrative certificate confirming the absence of disciplinary sanctions in the candidate's file, in five copies.
  • Any other useful document relevant to the nature and specificities of the position.
  • The personal project and methodology proposed by the candidate for managing, developing, and improving the performance of the concerned provincial directorate, in five copies.

It is mandatory to provide five copies of each document, fill out the curriculum vitae according to the attached form, and ensure that other copies contain no indications revealing the candidate's identity or position.
