The Ministry of Justice announces the opening of applications for the vacant responsibility position at the registry of the Rabat Court of Appeal, considered as equivalent to a department within the central administration. Position Details and Responsibilities

The announced position involves the functions of head of department within the registry of the Rabat Court of Appeal. According to Ministerial Decision No. 934.01 issued on January 29, 2001, the duties of the position to be filled and the required competencies are defined according to the job description attached to the decision. The department head assumes important administrative and organizational responsibilities within the judicial structure, with particular focus on ensuring efficient workflow in the concerned administrative unit.

Required Conditions for Application

Applications are open to two categories of personnel:

  • Permanent employees and contract agents who meet the following conditions:
    • Be ranked, at minimum, at the grade of second-class judicial delegate, or first-class state engineer, or in one of the equivalent indicative rank grades.
    • Hold, at minimum, a certificate or diploma allowing access to third-class judicial delegate grade or equivalent grade.
    • Have at least four years of actual service as permanent staff, or five years for contract agents.
    • Have previously exercised the functions of head of office.
  • Permanent employees and contract agents currently performing head of department functions at the date of the vacancy announcement.

Candidates interested in this position must prepare the following file:

  • Official application request.
  • Confirmed electronic registration receipt.
  • Detailed curriculum vitae including the candidate's qualifications, overview of professional background, and duties and functions previously performed.
  • Work program and methodology proposed by the candidate regarding the management, development, and performance improvement of the concerned administrative unit.
  • Opinion of the direct supervisor regarding the candidate's professional competence.

Application Procedures and Deadlines

Employees meeting the required conditions must retrieve the application form from the website of the Human Resources Directorate of the Ministry of Justice. Registration of the application request is mandatory through the dedicated software on the electronic website of the Human Resources Directorate, within the specified timeframe.

The deadline for electronic registration is March 24, 2026 at 4:30 PM. Required documents must reach the Human Resources Directorate - Personnel Department - Responsibility Positions Management Office, within the specified deadlines. It should be noted that applications not registered electronically, registered without receipt of required documents, or received after the deadline will be automatically rejected.

Interview and Selection Phase

In accordance with Articles 6 and 9 of Decree No. 2.11.681, a special committee will be appointed by decision of the Minister of Justice to conduct selection interviews. The date and location of these interviews will be announced later, and they will be decisive in choosing the most suitable candidate for the position.
