The National Airports Office (ONDA) has launched an internal and external call for applications to fill the position of Head of the Communications and Public Relations Department within the General Directorate. Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Overseeing all internal and external communications activities, including institutional, commercial, and crisis communications.
  • Creating and coordinating annual communications action plans while ensuring optimal use of allocated budgets.
  • Leading and executing media campaigns, events, and communication strategies across social media platforms and the official website.
  • Supervising the production of various content types such as speeches, press releases, brochures, and videos.
  • Developing and managing relationships with national and international media to ensure constructive and transparent collaboration.
  • Organizing press conferences, interviews, and public appearances to represent the institution.
  • Contributing to partnership, sponsorship, and international cooperation policies under the supervision of the General Directorate.
  • Developing and monitoring bilateral international cooperation projects and collaborations with international organizations.
  • Ensuring the smooth execution of institutional events such as seminars, exhibitions, and official ceremonies.

Managerial and Organizational Aspects

In addition to technical duties, the department head assumes significant managerial responsibilities including:

  • Managing the team under their supervision and defining objectives with performance evaluations.
  • Ensuring competency alignment for key positions within the department and organizing responsibility delegation.
  • Motivating and developing staff competencies while ensuring appropriate training provision.
  • Identifying occupational health and safety risks and implementing corrective action plans.
  • Guaranteeing service continuity in areas under their jurisdiction.
  • Preparing and managing the department's investment and operational budgets.
  • Monitoring performance through dashboards and key performance indicators.
