Job Opportunity: Project Manager at Al Omrane Group

Al Omrane Group (GAO), a strategic public enterprise and the state's instrument for implementing government policy in housing and territorial development, is recruiting 3 Project Managers (M/F) for its Draa Tafilalet regional office. This position offers a unique opportunity for ambitious engineers to engage in large-scale projects that improve living conditions and shape urban development across Morocco.

Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager

The Project Manager will oversee critical tasks ensuring project success from inception to completion. Primary duties include:

  • Managing projects in terms of planning, milestones, progress, and implementation while adhering to specifications, contractual commitments, and applicable regulations.
  • Ensuring coordination between internal and external project stakeholders.
  • Managing first-level relationships with institutional partners.
  • Monitoring projects to ensure compliance with quality standards, costs, and deadlines.
  • Participating in the development, implementation, and follow-up of the unit's action plan.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Education: State Engineering Diploma (State Diploma or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Bridges & Roads, Building, Public Works, or Hydraulics.
  • Experience: Initial experience in the technical field (Civil Engineering and/or Construction) is desirable.
  • Geographical mobility is required.

Required Skills and Competencies

The ideal candidate possesses a blend of technical and behavioral skills:

  • Technical: Mastery of regulatory procedures governing the real estate sector, techniques for developing and optimizing structures and business plans, project management techniques, and technical software and information systems (e.g., SAP, AutoCAD).
  • Behavioral and Managerial: Commitment, teamwork and adaptability, rigor and organizational skills, proactivity and initiative, analytical and synthesis abilities, quality oral and written expression, and autonomy in problem-solving.
