The Ministry of National Education, Preschool, Vocational Training and Qualification is organising entrance competitions for the teacher qualification cycle at the Regional Centres for Education and Training Professions, November 2026 session. This notice covers the middle school teacher qualification track, grade of professor of lower secondary education, 2nd grade, scale 10, with a total of 8,360 places distributed by specialty. The competition code is C 44432/26, and the written tests take place on Saturday 28 November 2026.
Salary: from 6500 to 9000 MAD per month.
Candidates submit only one application: either the primary teacher qualification track, the middle school track or the upper secondary track. Holders of a licence in mathematics or in French are exempt from this limit: their applications are accepted for both the middle school and upper secondary tracks in the requested specialty.
For the middle school track, only applications whose diploma matches the specialty field are accepted, with exceptions:
Applications undergo preselection by the competition committees. Holders of a licence in education or equivalent, and holders of a licence in one of the university education tracks or equivalent, are exempt from preselection.
Documents are scanned and uploaded in PDF on the dedicated platform.
Applications are submitted on wolouj.men.gov.ma from 5 November 2026 until 19 November 2026 at 16:30, the final deadline for submission and validation. Candidates choose the regional academy where they wish to sit the tests, noting that this request depends on each academy’s capacity and tests may be held in another academy. They also rank the regional centres where they wish to train if finally selected.
Files are reviewed and checked from 5 to 20 November 2026, preselection takes place on 23 and 24 November 2026, lists of candidates admitted to the written tests are published from 24 November 2026, and appeals are open on 25 and 26 November 2026. Publication of the lists serves as official invitation; text messages may also be used.
Written tests take place on 28 November 2026 and results are announced on 9 December 2026. The practical physical education and sport test runs from 1 to 4 December 2026; any score below 10 out of 20 is eliminatory, and it counts for 50% of the oral tests coefficient.
Candidates admitted to the orals are those declared successful in the written tests without an eliminatory score below 5 out of 20 in any component. The oral consists of a professional interview and the preparation and presentation of a lesson segment: two hours’ preparation, 20-minute presentation, 30-minute discussion, coefficient 20. It takes place from 14 to 23 December 2026.
Final and waiting lists are drawn up by merit within the number of places, among candidates without a score below 5 out of 20 in the orals; final results are announced from 29 December 2026. Successful candidates are assigned to training centres according to the training map, merit and the order of their preferences.
Registration at regional centres runs from 31 December 2026 to 2 January 2027, and training starts on 4 January 2027. Candidates who fail to attend without an accepted reason are replaced by 5 January 2027, and waiting-list candidates register on 7 and 8 January 2027. Holders of the pedagogical qualification certificate are appointed at the first step of the second grade of the middle school teacher framework as trainees, as applicable.
25% of places are reserved for resistance members, wards of the nation, former combatants or military personnel, and 7% for candidates with disabilities, subject to meeting the application conditions. Finally selected candidates must complete their files, including the original diploma, before starting training.
