Recruitment Competition for Labor Inspector 3rd Grade – 4 Positions

The Ministry of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills (Employment Sector) announces a recruitment competition for 4 positions of Labor Inspector of the 3rd grade (scale 10), specialty private law. This competition aims to strengthen the ministry's capacity to monitor and enforce labor legislation, ensuring fair working conditions for all.

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates must meet the following conditions:

  • Moroccan nationality.
  • Be at least 18 years old and not exceed 45 years (exceptions for resistance fighters and former combatants).
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree (Licence) in Private Law or an equivalent degree recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education.
  • Enjoy civil and political rights.
  • Good conduct and reputation.
  • Physical fitness to perform the duties.

Job Responsibilities

Labor inspectors are public officials responsible for monitoring the application of social legislation, particularly the Labor Code. Their duties include:

  • Conducting inspection visits to workplaces to ensure compliance with working hours, wages, safety, and health standards.
  • Investigating individual and collective labor disputes.
  • Issuing violation reports and submitting them to judicial authorities.
  • Providing legal advice to both employers and employees on their rights and obligations.

Applications must be submitted exclusively through the public employment portal www.emploi-public.ma. Candidates need to create a personal account, fill in the application form, and upload the required documents in PDF format. The deadline for applications is May 15, 2026, at 4:30 PM.

Exam Date and Program

The competition will be held on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at locations to be announced later. It consists of two written exams and one oral exam. The written exams cover a general topic on social and economic issues and a specialty exam in private law. Successful candidates from the written stage will proceed to an oral exam assessing communication and analytical skills.

The list of candidates admitted to the competition will be published on the ministry's website www.miepeec.gov.ma and the public employment portal; this list serves as a convocation.

Salary and Benefits

Successful candidates will be hired under the civil service system at scale 10. The monthly salary ranges from 5500 to 6500 MAD, plus additional allowances and bonuses as per legal provisions.
