The Maghreb Arab Press Agency (MAP) has announced an internal recruitment call for the position of TV Production Service Head within the MAP TV Division of the Media Directorate. This role presents a unique opportunity for experienced media professionals to join one of Morocco's and the Arab world's most prestigious journalistic institutions.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

The TV Production Service Head is responsible for the strategic and operational management of television program broadcasting, while ensuring quality standards and professional compliance. Specific duties include:

  • Overseeing the planning and execution of television programming schedules across various categories (culture and society, economy and finance, sports, etc.)
  • Monitoring content compliance with the agency's editorial directions and strategic policies
  • Ensuring adherence to technical, artistic, and quality standards in television broadcasting
  • Analyzing broadcast content and verifying its alignment with regulatory and editorial requirements
  • Developing and implementing broadcasting strategies consistent with the agency's media vision

Required Qualifications and Skills

Candidates for this position must possess a combination of technical, organizational, and behavioral competencies:

Technical Skills

  • Mastery of audiovisual programming principles and television scheduling logic
  • In-depth knowledge of audiovisual broadcasting techniques (streaming, on-air graphics, control room operations, technical standards)
  • Ability to define and deploy broadcasting strategies aligned with editorial directions
  • Proficiency in on-air quality standards (graphic consistency, audio, visual, and technical quality)
  • Thorough understanding of the current media landscape and trends in audiovisual production

  • Be currently active (not in availability, detachment, or long-term medical leave status)
  • Not have received a second-degree sanction within the past 12 months
  • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Journalism or Communication
  • Possess minimum professional experience of 5 years in audiovisual and media fields
  • Demonstrate proven team management capabilities

Required Professional Project

Each candidate must prepare a professional project demonstrating:

  • Their understanding of the position's mission and its interactions with the agency's strategic directions and operational functioning
  • Their personal vision for implementing the agency's strategic project
  • Project proposals and actions they plan to implement over the next 3 years
