Application Requirements

Candidates must meet the following conditions:

  • Moroccan nationality
  • Higher education diploma or certificate allowing classification in scale 11 or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in state administrations or private sector
  • At least 4 years experience as department head for civil servants
  • High qualifications and competencies enabling performance of General Inspector duties
  • Knowledge of administrative, financial, accounting management and auditing
  • Understanding of Ministry of Tourism strategy and missions
  • Familiarity with public policies and strategies related to tourism sector

Duties and Responsibilities

Decree number 2.11.112 dated 20 Rajab 1432 (June 23, 2011) defines the specifications for General Inspector positions in ministries. Primary responsibilities include monitoring and evaluating performance of ministry departments, ensuring application of legislative and regulatory texts, and contributing to quality improvement of tourism services. The General Inspector also plays a key role in proposing solutions to sector challenges and developing control and evaluation mechanisms.
