Key Duties and Responsibilities
The Project Manager will undertake comprehensive leadership responsibilities, including:
- Overseeing full project management lifecycle: planning, milestone setting, progress tracking, and execution while adhering to specifications, contractual commitments, and applicable regulations.
- Ensuring effective coordination between all internal and external project stakeholders.
- Managing first-level relationships with institutional partners and official authorities.
- Monitoring project progress with strict attention to quality standards, budget compliance, and agreed timelines.
- Contributing to the development, implementation, and follow-up of the unit's action plan.
- Participating in feasibility studies and defining project concepts with various stakeholders.
- Tracking administrative procedures for obtaining permits, compliance certificates, and occupancy licenses.
- Controlling and validating architectural and technical studies (preliminary and detailed design).
- Participating in tender processes and selecting contractors and service providers.
- Organizing and leading project kick-off, weekly site monitoring, and work acceptance meetings until project closure.
- Ensuring compliance with sustainable development requirements, quality, and site safety standards.
- Monitoring project finances and establishing performance reporting systems with corrective actions.
Position Requirements
Qualified candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Education: State Engineering Diploma (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Public Works, Building Construction, Roads & Bridges, or Hydraulics.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the technical field (Civil Engineering and/or Construction) as an engineer. Only experience directly related to the position's duties will be considered.
- Geographic Mobility: Candidates must be willing to travel as required by project needs.
