Career Opportunity in Morocco's Energy Sector

The Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development - Energy Transition Department is organizing a competitive recruitment examination for fourteen third-grade technical positions. This initiative represents a significant opportunity for qualified Moroccan professionals to contribute to the nation's energy transformation goals while building a stable public sector career.

Examination Details and Position Specifications

The examination will take place on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at the National School of Mines in Rabat. Successful candidates will fill fourteen third-grade technical positions specializing in industrial chemistry, classified under scale 9. These roles are strategically important for supporting Morocco's ambitious energy transition policies and sustainable development objectives.

Eligibility Requirements and Qualifications

The competition is open to Moroccan nationals aged between 18 and 40 years as of January 1 of the current year. Applicants must hold a specialized technical diploma issued by a vocational training institution established according to Decree No. 2.86.325, or an equivalent certificate recognized under current regulatory provisions. The industrial chemistry specialization requires specific technical competencies relevant to the energy sector's needs.

Quota System and Special Considerations

The administration reserves 25% of the available positions for individuals with status as resistance fighters, dependents of the nation, former military personnel, or veterans. Additionally, 7% of positions are allocated to persons with disabilities holding valid disability cards. Successful candidates will be appointed based on merit and specialization, ensuring fair representation while maintaining qualification standards.

Examination Structure and Evaluation Process

The competitive examination consists of two main components:

  • Written test: General question or multiple-choice questions (MCQ) covering various topics related to the concerned sector, required specialties, or relevant job functions, lasting three hours.
  • Oral or practical test: The examination committee discusses various topics and issues related to the sector's competencies with the candidate, or subjects them to a practical test within the technicians' mission scope, lasting between 15 and 30 minutes.

Candidates must achieve a minimum score of 12 out of 20 on the written test to qualify for the oral or practical examination phase.

Application Procedure and Required Documentation

Application files must be submitted electronically through the dedicated platform at https://depot.emploi-public.ma. The submission deadline is Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 4:30 PM.
