The Ministry of National Education, Preschool, Vocational Training and Qualification – Department of National Education is holding a recruitment competition for the teacher qualification cycle at the Regional Centres for Education and Training Professions, November 2026 session, for the grade of qualified secondary school teacher (2nd grade, scale 10). A total of 1700 positions are open, distributed by subject according to Annex 1 of the official announcement.

For the qualified secondary school track, only applications matching the field of the diploma specialty are accepted. Any application not matching the diploma specialty is cancelled, except for physical education and sport, where all specialties are accepted and candidates sit a practical test measuring sporting performance immediately after the written exams.
Applications are submitted online through the dedicated platform by scanning documents as PDF files, from 5 November 2026 until 19 November 2026 at 16:30.
Written exams take place on 28 November 2026 and include: a subject specialty exam (4 hours, coefficient 20), a didactics exam (2 hours, coefficient 12), and an education sciences exam (2 hours, coefficient 8). For physical education and sport, a practical test is held between 1 and 4 December 2026; any score below 10/20 is eliminatory, and practical tests count for 50% of the oral exam coefficient.
Candidates admitted to the oral exams are those declared successful in the written exams without an eliminatory score below 5/20 in any written component. Oral exams run from 14 to 23 December 2026 and consist of a professional interview and the preparation and presentation of a lesson segment (2 hours preparation, 20 minutes presentation, 30 minutes discussion, coefficient 20).
Successful candidates complete initial qualifying training at the Regional Centres for Education and Training Professions, ending with a graduation exam. They are then recruited and appointed, as applicable, to the first grade of the second step of the qualified secondary school teacher framework as trainees. A 25% quota of posts is reserved for resistance members, wards of the nation, former combatants or military personnel, and 7% for candidates with disabilities who meet the application conditions.
Candidates should consult the official announcement and its annexes to verify all conditions, the distribution by regional academy and the required documents. The indicative salary of 6500 to 9000 MAD per month is an editorial estimate, not an official figure, and varies by corps, allowances and personal circumstances.
