One third-grade technician post at Cadi Ayyad University

Cadi Ayyad University in Marrakech is holding a recruitment competition for public posts covering one (1) position as a third-grade technician, scale 9, specialising in business management. The competition is scheduled for 29 November 2026, with applications closing on 22 November 2026, according to the university's notice.

The notice assigns the post to the establishment referred to as “FSJP S”, which corresponds in the attached allocation table to the Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences in Safi. This is a regular recruitment competition, meaning a standard competition for public posts rather than a private-law contract.

Salary: from 5500 to 7500 MAD per month.

Allocation of the post and required speciality

The notice includes a general table distributing several posts across different establishments, grades and specialities. For this competition, only one row matches the published data: third-grade technician, speciality “Gestion des Entreprises”, one post, in the establishment mentioned above.

It should be noted that the attached table also lists other independent tracks (state engineers, administrators and technicians in other specialities at other establishments) that do not belong to this competition. Some cells in the table are unreadable in the electronic version, and their values must neither be inferred nor subtracted from the total. The scope of this competition is therefore limited to the single post described.

Nature of the grade

The “third-grade technician” grade is a technical cadre in the Moroccan civil service, corresponding to scale 9, and requires a specialised technician diploma or a recognised equivalent under the applicable regulatory provisions. It differs from the administrator cadre (which requires a licence or master's degree depending on the grade) and from the state engineer cadre.

Eligibility conditions

Eligibility is governed by the applicable regulatory provisions, in particular:

  • Nationality: the candidate must be of Moroccan nationality.
  • Age: for the third-grade specialised technician cadre, the candidate must be at least 18 and no more than 40 years old on 1 January of the current year. The upper age limit may be extended by a period equal to the length of service valid or capable of being validated for retirement, without exceeding 45 years. The age condition does not apply to the civil servants concerned.
  • Diploma: the candidate must hold the required diploma in the speciality mentioned, namely the specialised technician diploma issued by one of the established vocational training institutions, or one of the recognised equivalent qualifications, or one of the qualifications determined in accordance with the applicable regulatory provisions.

The legal provisions on reserving budgeted posts for former resistance members, wards of the nation, former military personnel and former combatants, as well as for persons with disabilities, apply where their conditions are met.

Note on diploma equivalence

For a diploma issued by a foreign university, a copy of the equivalence decision published in the Official Bulletin must be provided, accompanied where applicable by the certificates and diplomas specified in the equivalence decision. For a diploma issued by a private university or a Moroccan private higher education institution, a copy of the table published in the Official Bulletin setting out the diploma equivalence is required. This rule applies only to the cases specified.

Application file and required documents

The application file includes the following documents:

  • a handwritten application to take part, addressed to the president of the establishment concerned, stating the candidate's name, address, telephone number and email address, signed by hand, and mentioning the cadre and speciality;
  • a curriculum vitae (CV) with the candidate's photograph;
  • a copy of the electronic national identity card;
  • a copy of the required diploma (a certificate of success is not accepted);
  • a copy of the equivalence decision or of the table published in the Official Bulletin, depending on the case described above;
  • a copy of the baccalaureate or of the technician diploma for the third-grade specialised technician cadre;
  • authorisation to sit the competition for candidates who are civil servants;
  • authorisation from the Head of Government for candidates who have exceeded the recruitment age limit;
  • a copy of the document certifying disability, issued by the services of the competent government authority, for the candidates concerned;
  • a copy of the document certifying membership of the former resistance, wards of the nation, former military personnel or former combatants.

Applications that are incomplete, do not meet the required conditions, contain inaccurate declarations or data, or are submitted after the deadline will be rejected.

Tests and selection rules

According to the attached table, the third-grade technician competition includes the following tests:

  • General written test: covering various economic, social, political and administrative aspects at national and international level, written obligatorily in Arabic. Duration: three (3) hours; coefficient: 04.

  • Oral test: an interview with the panel on general culture, the candidate's speciality and the sector. Duration: at least 15 minutes; coefficient: 03.

Candidates who are accepted and have taken both written tests and obtained the required average are admitted to the oral test, under the conditions set by the regulatory provisions applicable to each cadre and grade. The lists of candidates admitted to the written and oral tests are published on the public employment portal and on the university's website; this publication constitutes an official invitation.

Practical preparation checklist

The following suggestions are practical and are not official conditions; they are intended to help avoid common mistakes:

  • check that your diploma matches the required speciality and cadre before starting the application;
  • make sure the handwritten application is addressed to the establishment concerned and states the cadre, speciality and your contact details;
  • verify the validity of the disability or category-membership document before uploading it;
  • if you are a civil servant, obtain authorisation to sit the competition before the deadline;
  • prepare revision in general culture, economic, social and administrative issues, and business management, practising clear Arabic writing.

Online submission remains the only application route; candidates should avoid waiting until the final days in case of technical problems.
