About the Announcement
The Provincial Directorate of Sidi Ifni, under the Ministry of Interior, has announced a call for applications to fill vacant leadership positions within its administrative units. This initiative is in line with Decree No. 2.11.681 of November 25, 2011, which governs the appointment of division heads and service heads in public administrations. The goal is to attract qualified and experienced civil servants to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of local governance.
Available Positions
Three positions are open for application:
- Head of the Budget, Contracts, and General Resources Division
- Head of the Programming and Equipment Division
- Head of the Programming and Technical Studies Service (within the Programming and Equipment Division)
Eligibility Requirements
For the position of Division Head, candidates must be permanent civil servants or contract agents currently working at the Ministry of Interior, meeting the following criteria:
- Ranked at least as a Principal Inspector (Grade 2) or State Engineer, or in a grade with a similar salary index.
- Hold at least a diploma that allows access to the grade of Principal Inspector (Grade 3) or equivalent.
- Have at least four years of service as a permanent employee or five years for contract agents, within state administrations or local authorities.
- Have previously served as a Service Head (this condition may be waived).
For the Service Head position, the requirements are:
- Ranked at least as a Principal Inspector (Grade 2) or State Engineer, or equivalent.
- Hold at least a diploma allowing access to Principal Inspector (Grade 3) or equivalent.
- Have at least two years of effective service as a permanent employee or three years for contract agents.
- Alternatively, permanent employees ranked as Principal Inspector (Grade 3) or equivalent, with fifteen years of effective service including at least four years in that grade, may also apply.
How to Apply
The application file must include the following documents:
- A cover letter with a recent photograph, accompanied by the approval and opinion of the direct supervisor on the candidate's competence.
- A dossier downloaded from the public service portal www.emploi-public.ma, including a detailed CV and a work plan outlining the methodology for managing and developing the administrative unit.
- The appointment decision for the current grade, and if applicable, the appointment decision for a previous leadership position.
Applications must be submitted through the administrative hierarchy to the Governor of Sidi Ifni Province before June 3, 2026, at 16:30.
Selection Process
A committee appointed by the Governor will screen complete applications and conduct selective interviews. Evaluation will be based on the quality of the CV, the relevance of the work plan, and performance during the interview.
