Recruitment Announcement: Three Port Officers at Nador West Med

Nador West Med, a leading port operating company in Morocco, is seeking to recruit three (03) Port Officers (Officier de Port) under contract, as per Decision No. 00/2026 dated April 23, 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced maritime professionals to join a dynamic team in the Nador region.

Required Profile

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Nationality: Moroccan.
• Education: Graduate of a public merchant marine school or equivalent.
• Certificates: Hold a Certificate of Master Mariner (Long Course), a Diploma of Master Mariner (Long Course), or a Certificate of Chief Mate (Long Course).
• Age: Maximum 40 years old by the application deadline.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of sea service on commercial vessels or port experience as a Port Officer.

Responsibilities and Skills

Key responsibilities include port police, port intervention, dangerous goods safety, nautical safety, ship and port facility security plans, maritime traffic management, nautical environment, berth planning, and knowledge of ship technical characteristics. The ideal candidate should also possess strong communication skills in French and English, analytical abilities, and behavioral traits such as commitment, initiative, autonomy, rigor, and teamwork.
