The Province of Nador, under the Ministry of Interior, announces a call for applications for the position of Head of Territorial Communities Division. This senior leadership role aims to strengthen local governance and enhance the performance of administrative units responsible for managing territorial communities within the province.

Eligibility Criteria

The position is open to permanent civil servants and contract staff of the Ministry of Interior who are covered by the general budget and meet the following requirements:

  • Be ranked at least at the grade of Inspector 2nd grade or State Engineer, or an equivalent grade.
  • Hold at least a degree or diploma allowing access to the grade of Inspector 3rd grade or equivalent.
  • Have at least four (4) years of actual service as a permanent employee or five (5) years for contract staff, within state administrations and territorial communities.
  • Have previously served as Head of Service (this condition may be waived).

Job Responsibilities

The Head of Territorial Communities Division will plan, coordinate, and monitor the activities of territorial communities in the province, supervise teams, ensure the implementation of public policies in the territorial domain, and provide periodic reports to the supervisory authority.

Required Documents

The application file must include the following:

  • An application letter with a recent photograph, accompanied by the approval of the direct supervisor and their opinion on the candidate's competence.
  • The application file downloaded from the public service portal www.emploi-public.ma.
  • A curriculum vitae detailing qualifications, professional background, and previous missions and functions.
  • A work plan and methodology proposed for managing, developing, and improving the performance of the relevant administrative unit.
  • The decision of appointment to the current grade.
  • The decision of appointment to a previous management position, if applicable.

How to Apply

Applications must be submitted through the administrative hierarchy to the Governor of Nador Province, no later than July 10, 2026, at 4:30 PM, which is the final deadline for accepting applications.

Selection Process

A committee appointed by decision of the Governor of Nador Province will handle the selection of eligible applications and conduct interviews for shortlisted candidates.

This decision is published on the public service portal www.emploi-public.ma, and posted at the headquarters of Nador Province, the Human Resources Directorate, as well as at the headquarters of provinces and prefectures across the Kingdom.
