The Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of "Innovation Ecosystem Activity Officer" based at its headquarters in Rabat. Key Responsibilities and Duties
The successful candidate will report to the Head of the Innovation Department and will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining active relationships with Fintech companies, financial institutions, incubators, investors, and all relevant stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem.
- Coordinating activities with the Morocco Fintech Center (MFC) and various ecosystem partners.
- Participating in defining and implementing the regulator's engagement strategy with the Fintech ecosystem.
- Organizing and facilitating workshops, meetings, and events aimed at promoting exchange and collaboration.
- Contributing to monitoring financial innovation trends and analyzing their impact on the local ecosystem.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a higher education degree (Master's or engineering diploma) in technology applied to finance, economics, innovation, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Have at least five years of professional experience in a similar position, or in the Fintech ecosystem, innovation, or financial regulation.
Essential Skills and Competencies
The ideal candidate should demonstrate:
- In-depth knowledge of AMMC's activities, environment, and regulatory framework.
- Strong understanding of financial market operations, infrastructure, and products.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Fintech ecosystem and financial innovation challenges.
- Good understanding of regulatory frameworks related to finance and technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in project mode and across different departments.
Language Requirements
Proficiency in French and Arabic is mandatory, while knowledge of English is considered an additional asset.
