  • Be classified at least at the second category executive grade, or state engineer, or in one of the equivalent index grades
  • Hold a diploma or certificate allowing access to third category executive grade or equivalent grade
  • Have at least four years of service as a permanent employee, or five years for contract agents
  • Have previously performed service chief duties, with possible exemption if service requirements demand it

Director of Services Duties and Responsibilities

The Director of Services assumes a set of vital missions including:

  • Complete supervision of communal administration, its organization and coordination of its activities
  • Control of communal service files before signature by the council president
  • Coordination between the council presidency and various departments, services and communal offices
  • Animation of communal services and work coordination between them to ensure harmony and efficiency
  • Supervision of various correspondence issued by the commune and received by it
  • Drafting and maintenance of all documents necessary for the preparation, execution and follow-up of council decisions
