Director of Annakhil District in Marrakech – Responsibility Position

Announcement Details

The commune of Marrakech (Prefecture of Marrakech) announces a call for applications for the position of Director of Annakhil District. This recruitment is based on the legal framework including Dahir No. 1.58.008 on the General Statute of Civil Service and Decree No. 2.21.580 on appointment to senior positions in territorial collectivities.

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Be a permanent civil servant or contract agent working at Marrakech commune.
• Be classified at least as an Attaché of the 2nd grade or Engineer cadre or equivalent grade.
• Hold a diploma allowing access to the grade of Attaché of the 3rd grade.
• Have at least 4 years of service as a permanent employee or 5 years as a contract agent.
• Have held a position as Head of Division or Head of Service (exemption possible if required by service needs).

Application File

The application file consists of:

• An application form with a recent photograph, accompanied by the approval of the direct supervisor and his opinion on the candidate's competence.
• A curriculum vitae detailing academic background, training, languages, and professional experience.
• A proposed work program and methodology to improve the performance of the district directorate.
• The decision of appointment in the current cadre and, if applicable, in a responsibility position.
• Any other useful document.

How to Apply and Deadline

Applications must be submitted against a receipt at the Human Resources Management Department of Marrakech commune, after registration at the central registry, from July 20, 2026, until August 7, 2026, at 4:30 PM (latest deadline for acceptance).

Selection and Interview

A committee appointed by the President of Marrakech commune will handle the selection of complete files and conduct the selective interview. The interview will focus on the candidate's knowledge of the legal and administrative framework of the district, as well as modern public management techniques.

Results Publication

The decision, after visa by the Wali of the Marrakech-Safi region, will be published on the public employment portal and posted at the commune headquarters and various district offices and communal facilities.
