Recruitment Competition for First Grade Architects in Kenitra

The commune of Kenitra has announced a competitive examination for the recruitment of first grade architects, with two vacant positions available in architectural engineering. This competition is organized in accordance with legislative texts governing public service employment, including Royal Decree No. 1.58.008 concerning the general statute of public service and Decree No. 2-11-621 establishing the conditions for organizing recruitment competitions.

Competition Details and Requirements

The examination will take place on Sunday, April 12, 2026, aiming to recruit first grade architects specialized in architectural engineering. Among the available positions, 5% are reserved for former resistance fighters, national cause beneficiaries, former military personnel, or veterans, and 5% for persons with disabilities, reflecting the commune's commitment to inclusion and equity policies.

Candidates must meet the following conditions:

  • Hold an architect diploma issued by the National School of Architecture or an equivalent recognized diploma
  • Be between 18 and 45 years old as of January 1, 2026
  • Meet the conditions stipulated in Article 21 of the general statute of public service

Candidates must submit a complete application file including:

  • A handwritten application specifying the chosen specialty
  • An updated curriculum vitae with photo and contact information
  • The application form downloaded from the commune's website and filled electronically
  • A copy of the national identity card
  • A copy of the diploma or certificate obtained in the required specialty
  • Additional documents required for candidates from special categories

For holders of foreign diplomas, a copy of the equivalence decision published in the Official Bulletin is required, with translation of documents into Arabic or French if written in another language.

Application files must be submitted at the central registry office located at the Municipal Palace of Kenitra (Administrative Square - Al Maâmoura), or sent by mail to the commune's address: P.O. Box 6, Postal Code 14000 Kenitra. The submission deadline is Friday, February 27, 2026 at 4:30 PM.

It is important to note that any file received after this date or incomplete will not be considered and will be kept without response.

Competition Stages and Results Publication

The competition includes a written test and an oral or practical test, or both combined. The written test lasts 4 hours and covers a general subject or multiple-choice questions (MCQ) related to job responsibilities and territorial community competencies.

The oral or practical test aims to evaluate the candidate's ability to perform functions related to the concerned grade, with a duration between 15 and 45 minutes.

The list of candidates admitted to the tests will be published on the public employment portal (www.emploi-public.ma), the national portal of territorial communities (www.collectivites-territoriales.gov.ma), and the commune's website (www.kenitra.ma), as well as at the headquarters of the Kenitra commune.
