The prefecture of Taounate province, under the Ministry of Interior, is organizing a regular recruitment competition for five (5) positions of third grade technician, scale 9, specializing in information technology. This professional opportunity represents a unique chance to join the territorial administration of the Kingdom of Morocco and contribute to the development of digital public services in the province.
The competition will take place on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at Al Wahda High School in Taounate, with possible designation of additional centers later. The competition is open to candidates of Moroccan nationality, aged at least 18 years and not more than 42 years at the time of application submission.
Candidates must hold, mandatorily upon registration, a specialized technician diploma in information technology, issued by one of the vocational training institutions established in accordance with Decree No. 2.12.800, or one of the equivalent diplomas whose list is determined according to current regulatory provisions.
A quota of 25% of the budgeted positions open to competition is reserved for persons with the status of resistance fighter, nation's dependent, former military personnel, or former combatant. A quota of 7% is also reserved for persons with disabilities holding the "disabled person" card.
The competition includes two main tests:
Candidates who obtain an average of at least 10 out of 20 in the written test are admitted to take the oral test.
Candidates must register mandatorily on the public employment website https://depot.emploi-public.ma during the period from February 20 to February 25, 2026 at 4:30 PM. The application must be accompanied by a copy of the required diploma, a copy of the national identity card, as well as the candidate's curriculum vitae.
For foreign diplomas or those issued by private institutions, it is necessary to attach during registration via the portal the equivalence decision published in the Official Bulletin as well as the certified diplomas specified by the same decision.
Candidates working in public administrations must, in addition to their registration on the electronic portal, submit competition participation requests accompanied mandatorily by the final approval of the administration to which they belong (human resources departments).
Candidates with the status of resistance fighter, nation's dependent, former military personnel, or former combatant must submit their applications through the administrations responsible for managing their affairs, in addition to registering on the electronic portal within the specified deadlines.
Candidates with disabilities must subsequently provide a certificate issued by the Ministry of Solidarity, Women, Family and Social Development.
The lists of candidates admitted to take the competition are published on the public employment portal www.emploi-public.ma and this publication serves as a summons to take the tests. The results of the written test and final results, including the waiting list, are published on the same portal.
If during the verification of competition participation conditions, it is found that a candidate previously declared successful does not meet one or more required conditions, they will be replaced (in order and according to merit) by another candidate registered on the waiting list who meets these conditions.
The monthly salary for the third grade technician - scale 9 ranges between 4500 and 5300 Moroccan dirhams, with benefit of the pension system and social advantages granted to public officials of the Kingdom of Morocco.
In addition to the required documents, candidates definitively admitted to this competition are required to complete their files with the administrative documents required by regulation for appointment to public service.
