Position Overview

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The Operations Manager will report directly to the General Management and will be responsible for the comprehensive operational management of the bus station:

• Daily Operations Supervision: Oversee all daily activities, coordinate bus arrivals and departures, and ensure smooth passenger and vehicle flow within the station.
• Carrier Relationship Management: Liaise with road transport companies, enforce schedule and operational procedure compliance, and address any service-related incidents.
• Team Leadership: Manage operational staff including agents, customer service personnel, inspectors, and security teams. Schedule shifts and contribute to staff training and development.
• Safety and Security: Ensure strict adherence to safety and security protocols, oversee surveillance systems, and manage emergency situations in coordination with relevant authorities.
• Service Quality Monitoring: Handle passenger complaints, implement continuous service improvement initiatives, and maintain high standards of customer service.
• Administrative Reporting: Prepare periodic activity reports and monitor key performance indicators such as traffic volume and incident rates.

Required Profile and Qualifications

The company is seeking a highly qualified and experienced candidate:

• Education: A Master's degree (Bac+5 equivalent) in Transport and Logistics, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role, or in the operations management of public transport infrastructure such as bus stations, ports, airports, or logistics platforms.
• Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of the passenger road transport sector, mastery of operations management techniques, and familiarity with relevant transport and public infrastructure safety regulations.
• Managerial Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, excellent organizational and planning skills, decisiveness under pressure, and effective communication with partners.
• Personal Qualities: A strong sense of responsibility, ability to work under pressure, rigor, initiative, and a commitment to public service values.
