Recruitment Competition for Technician 4th Grade at Deroua Commune

The commune of Deroua announces a recruitment competition for the position of Technician 4th Grade (scale 8) for the year 2026, to fill two (2) positions in the specialty of driving vehicles and heavy construction machinery. This competition aims to select qualified and motivated individuals to contribute to the maintenance and operation of the commune's fleet and equipment, supporting local infrastructure projects.

Required Conditions

• Moroccan nationality.
• Aged at least 18 and at most 40 years old as of January 1, 2026.
• Hold a technician diploma in driving vehicles or heavy construction machinery from a vocational training institution established under Decree No. 2.86.225, or an equivalent recognized diploma.
• Must possess a valid driving license of category C or D.
• Enjoy civil rights and be of good character.
• Meet the physical fitness requirements for the position.
• Not be registered in the central disciplinary record of the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform.

Application File

The application file must include the following documents:

• A signed handwritten application addressed to the President of the Commune Council of Deroua, including full name, personal address, email, and phone number.
• A copy of the diploma, accompanied by a copy of the equivalence decision if applicable (success certificates are not accepted).
• Any documents proving the candidate's practical skills and competencies required for the position.
• A copy of the national identity card.
• A copy of the driving license (category C or D).
• A copy of the criminal record or police clearance.
• Written and explicit authorization for civil servant candidates from their employing administration.
• Two stamped envelopes bearing the full name and personal address.
• A curriculum vitae with a recent passport photo.

Submission of Applications

Applications must be submitted directly to the Human Resources Management Department of Deroua Commune, or sent by registered mail, during official working hours, from the date of publication of the decision until June 5, 2026, before 4:30 PM. Any application received after the deadline, incomplete, or missing required documents will be rejected.

Competition Tests

The competition consists of a written test and an oral or practical test, or both:

• Written test: A general topic or multiple-choice questions (QCM) related to the tasks or functions to be filled or the competencies of territorial communes. Duration: 3 hours.
• Oral or practical test: An interview with the jury on various subjects or a practical test in the required specialty. Duration: 15 to 45 minutes.

The written test is scored from 0 to 20. Only candidates who score at least 12 out of 20 are eligible for the oral or practical test.

Date and Location

The competition will take place on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Hassan II High School in Deroua.

Salary and Benefits

A Technician 4th Grade (scale 8) earns a monthly salary ranging from MAD 4,700 to MAD 5,400, plus allowances and bonuses as per the statute of local authority employees. Benefits include health insurance, pension, and career progression opportunities.
