Job Opportunity: Studies Manager at the Regional Project Execution Agency

The Regional Project Execution Agency (AREP) of the Casablanca-Settat region is announcing a recruitment competition for two studies manager positions. This strategic role is part of efforts to strengthen the agency's capabilities in planning and executing regional development projects.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must hold a state engineering diploma in civil engineering, rural engineering, hydraulics, or equivalent. A minimum of three years of professional experience in roadworks, VRD (Various Road Works), or BTP (Building and Public Works) is required, whether in the public or private sector.

Additionally, applicants must demonstrate at least one year of experience within a specialized studies office in these same fields. Desired personal qualities include: strong interpersonal skills, teamwork ability, rigor, and organizational sense.

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the head of the studies department, the studies manager will have the following main responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, manage, and oversee studies supervised by AREP.
  • Establish study schedules and develop specifications documents.
  • Launch studies and monitor their progress while controlling the quality of work performed by external consultants.
  • Verify compliance of work with specifications and current regulations.
  • Prepare evaluation reports and summary presentations.
  • Conduct preliminary studies and prepare Tender Documents (DCE).
  • Perform diagnostic and field investigations to precisely define requirements.
  • Develop project design plans (horizontal alignment, longitudinal profile, cross-sections).
  • Prepare necessary preliminary quantity surveys.
  • Participate in monitoring committees for studies managed by other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to study acceptances (partial, provisional, and final).

About the Regional Project Execution Agency

Established by deliberation No. 02/2016 of the Casablanca-Settat Regional Council on March 7, 2016, AREP operates under Dahir No. 1-15-83 of 20 Ramadan 1436 (July 7, 2015) promulgating Organic Law No. 111-14 concerning regions. Its mission is to accelerate and execute development projects in the region, providing a dynamic and inspiring work environment for ambitious professionals.
