The Chefchaouen Province is organizing a competition to recruit two first-grade state engineers specializing in civil engineering. This exceptional professional opportunity aims to strengthen technical competencies within various administrative units of the province or the general secretariat of the prefecture, providing a stable and growth-oriented work environment for qualified engineers.
Candidates must be of Moroccan nationality, aged at least 18 years and not more than 45 years as of January 1st of the current year. They must hold, at the time of registration, a state engineering diploma in the aforementioned specialty, issued by national schools, institutes, or university institutions authorized to deliver it, or an equivalent diploma according to current regulatory provisions.
A quota of 25% of the budgetary positions is reserved for persons with the status of resistance fighter, nation's ward, former military personnel, or former combatant. A quota of 7% is also reserved for persons with disabilities holding a "disabled person" card, reflecting the administration's commitment to inclusion and equal opportunity policies.
The competition consists of two main tests:
Only candidates who obtain an average of at least 12/20 in the written test are eligible to take the oral test.
Applications must be registered on the public employment website https://depot.emploi-public.ma during the period from March 11 to March 30, 2026, until 4:30 PM. The application file must be accompanied by a copy of the required diploma, a copy of the electronic national identity card, and the candidate's curriculum vitae.
The lists of candidates admitted to take the competition are published on the public employment portal www.emploi-public.ma, and this publication serves as a summons to take the tests. The results of the written test and the final results, including the waiting list, are published on the same portal and can be disseminated through all available means.
If during the verification of participation conditions it is found that a candidate previously declared successful does not meet one or more required conditions, they will be replaced (in order and according to merit) by another candidate registered on the waiting list who meets these conditions.
This competition represents a golden opportunity for qualified civil engineers to join the territorial administration apparatus, enabling contribution to local development and infrastructure projects serving citizens. Working within the Ministry of Interior ensures a stimulating work environment with prospects for professional development and financial stability, with a monthly salary ranging between 9400 and 10600 dirhams according to scale 11.
