The Ministry of Interior - Taounate Province announces the opening of a recruitment competition for a first-grade state engineer position, specializing in civil engineering. Competition Details and Requirements

This competition is open to Moroccan nationals aged between 30 and 45 years as of January 1st of the current year. Candidates must hold a state engineering diploma in civil engineering, issued by authorized national schools, institutes, or university institutions, or an equivalent diploma according to current regulatory provisions.

Examination System

The competition includes two main tests:

• Written test: Lasting three hours, comprising a general subject or multiple-choice questions (MCQ) related to the tasks or functions to be filled, the competencies of the Ministry of Interior, or the required specialties.
• Oral and/or practical test: Lasting between 30 and 45 minutes, during which the competition committee discusses various topics with the candidate, or subjects them to a practical test in the required specialty.

Only candidates who obtain an average of at least 10 out of 20 in the written test are eligible to take the oral test.

Application Procedure and Registration

Applications must be registered on the public employment website (https://depot.emploi-public.ma) during the period from February 20 to 25, 2026, at 4:30 PM. The application must be accompanied by a copy of the required diploma, a copy of the national identity card, and the candidate's curriculum vitae.

Important Information for Candidates

For foreign diplomas or those issued by private institutions, it is necessary to attach during registration via the portal the equivalence decision published in the Official Bulletin. Candidates working in public administrations must, in addition to their registration on the electronic portal, submit their participation request accompanied by the final approval of the administration to which they belong.

Quota System

A quota of 25% of budgeted positions is reserved for persons with the status of resistance fighter, nation's dependent, former military personnel, or former combatant, and 7% for persons with disabilities holding a "disabled person" card.

Examination Location

The Taounate Province organizes the tests on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at Al-Wahda Qualifying High School in Taounate, and possibly in other centers to be determined later.

The lists of candidates admitted to take the competition are published on the public employment portal (www.emploi-public.ma) and this publication serves as a summons to the tests. The results of the written test and final results, including the waiting list, are also published on this same portal.
