Job Opportunity: Specialized Systems and Networks Technician

The Regional Development Company "Oriental Services" S.A is recruiting for the position of Specialized Systems and Networks Technician as part of its human capital strengthening strategy. This contract-based role offers a unique chance for qualified technicians to join a dynamic team within a company dedicated to regional development.

Key Position Details

Primary Responsibilities

The technician will be responsible for ensuring the operational integrity and security of the company's IT infrastructure. Key duties include:

  • Installing and configuring servers and operating systems.
  • Administering computer networks (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi).
  • Managing user accounts and access rights.
  • Implementing data backup and recovery procedures.
  • Deploying and configuring security equipment such as firewalls, VPNs, and antivirus software.
  • Providing technical support to end-users.
  • Monitoring system performance and addressing technical incidents promptly.

Required Profile

Oriental Services is seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma as a Specialized Technician in Systems and Networks (Bac+2 equivalent) as a minimum requirement.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux, Active Directory and GPO management, strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, VPN protocols, experience with virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V), familiarity with backup and monitoring tools, and hardware/software maintenance capabilities.
  • Behavioral Skills: Attention to detail and organizational skills, analytical and diagnostic mindset, responsiveness, teamwork abilities, and a service-oriented attitude.
