Essential Application Requirements

To be eligible for these leadership positions, candidates must fulfill one of the following pathways:

First Pathway

• Be ranked at least in the grade of second-class administrator or within the state engineer framework, or in one of the grades with equivalent indicative ranking.
• Hold at least a certificate or diploma allowing classification in the grade of third-class administrator or higher.
• Have at least two (2) years of actual service as a permanent employee, or three (3) years for contract agents in state administrations and territorial communities.
• Have previously performed service head functions, with possible exemption from this requirement if service necessity demands it.

Second Pathway

Includes permanent civil servants and contract agents performing service head functions on the date of the vacancy announcement.

Third Pathway

Includes permanent civil servants and contract agents ranked in the grade of third-class administrator or one of the grades with equivalent indicative ranking, with seniority of at least fifteen (15) years of actual service in state administrations or territorial communities, including at least four years in the mentioned grade.

Application File Composition

Candidates must prepare the following file:

• Application request addressed to the Dean of the faculty, necessarily including approval from the head of the administration to which the candidate belongs, and the opinion of their direct supervisor regarding their competence to assume responsibility.
• Copy of obtained certificates and diplomas.
• Copy of appointment decision in the required framework and grade, or administrative certificate proving the candidate's administrative status.
• Candidate's curriculum vitae according to the model attached to the appointment decision.
• Any other document relevant to the nature of the mentioned position.
• Work program and methodology proposed by the candidate regarding management of the concerned service, its development, and performance improvement.

File Withdrawal and Submission Procedure

The application file can be downloaded from the Faculty of Sciences website (https://fs.uae.ac.ma/) as well as from the university website (https://www.uae.ma/) starting February 23, 2026.

The application file must be submitted in one paper copy and one digital copy (PDF) against deposit receipt at the general secretariat of the concerned institution. The file must be placed in a large sealed envelope bearing the candidate's name, registration number, and the position to be filled.

The deadline for file submission is Monday, March 9, 2026 during regular administrative hours (until 4:30 PM).

Selection Phase and Interviews

A committee appointed by decision of the university president will handle the selection of files meeting application requirements and conducting selection interviews.
