Residency Competition at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Agadir 2026

The Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Agadir, under Ibn Zohr University, announces the national residency competition for the year 2026. This competition offers 268 positions across various medical, surgical, biological, and pharmaceutical specialties.

Available Specialties

The positions are distributed as follows:

• Medical Specialties: 146 positions (143 with contract, 3 for foreign volunteers)
• Surgical Specialties: 84 positions (81 with contract, 3 for foreign volunteers)
• Biological Specialties: 18 positions (17 with contract, 1 for foreign volunteers)
• Pharmaceutical Specialties: 8 positions with contract

Additionally, there are 12 military positions: 6 in medical specialties, 4 in surgical, and 2 in pharmaceutical.

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Hold a Doctor of Medicine degree.
• Obtain equivalency for foreign diplomas if applicable.
• Provide 30 original birth certificates issued within the last 3 months.
• Copy of national ID card.

How to Apply

The application process involves two steps:

1. Online Registration: via the faculty's electronic portal https://fmpa.uiz.ac.ma before May 30, 2026, attaching the required documents in PDF format.
2. Submission of Paper File: on the day of the competition at the faculty.

Competition Date

The competition will take place on June 15, 2026. Exam schedules will be announced later.
