Marrakech Region Sport S.A. (Société de Développement Régional Marrakech Région Sport) has announced a recruitment competition for the position of Pitch Manager (Cadre Chargé de Pelouse). This contract-based recruitment aims to strengthen the technical team responsible for the maintenance and management of sports turf.

Job Responsibilities

The Pitch Manager will assist in the daily maintenance, technical monitoring, and operation of sports lawns and playing surfaces. Key duties include:

• Participating in mowing, fertilizing, irrigation, and treatment of sports turf.
• Daily monitoring of turf condition, uniformity, and aesthetic quality.
• Performing aeration, overseeding, and renovation of damaged areas.
• Monitoring irrigation and drainage systems.
• Preparing fields for matches and sporting events.
• Ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards, including FIFA requirements.
• Reporting daily to the senior Pitch Manager and contributing to technical reports.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree (Bac+3 to Bac+5) in agronomy, landscaping, horticulture, sports turf management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in sports turf maintenance, green spaces, or sports infrastructure.
• Experience in a stadium or sports complex is an advantage.
• Knowledge of sports turf care and irrigation systems.
• Familiarity with technical standards for sports fields and FIFA standards.
