Recruitment Contest for 100 State Customs Engineers (1st Grade) – Ministry of Economy and Finance

The Ministry of Economy and Finance, through the Customs and Indirect Taxation Administration, announces a recruitment contest for 100 positions of State Customs Engineer, 1st grade. This initiative aims to strengthen the customs administration with highly skilled engineers to modernize and streamline customs procedures.

Eligibility Criteria

The contest is open to Moroccan nationals meeting the following requirements:

• Maximum age of 45 years as of January 1, 2026.
• Hold a "State Engineer" diploma from a recognized national school, institute, or university, or an equivalent diploma.
• Civil servants and employees of public administrations and local authorities must provide a final authorization from their central human resources departments.

How to Apply

Candidates must register exclusively online via the platform: https://e-recrutement.finances.gov.ma. The following documents must be uploaded in PDF format:

• Copy of the electronic national identity card.
• Copy of the required diploma, or equivalence certificate for foreign diplomas or those from accredited private institutions.
• Curriculum vitae (CV) with photo, phone number, permanent address, and email.
• For candidates with the status of resistance fighter, ward of the nation, former military, or former combatant, a supporting certificate.

The application deadline is August 10, 2026, at 4:30 PM. Incomplete or incorrectly uploaded applications will be rejected.

Contest Components

The contest consists of three tests:

• Written test: Duration 2 hours, coefficient 3. Multiple-choice questions or thematic questions related to the engineer's duties or economic, social, cultural, and scientific topics. Can be in Arabic or French.
• Sports test: 1500-meter run, coefficient 1. Only candidates scoring at least 12/20 on the written test are eligible.
• Oral test: Duration 20-30 minutes, coefficient 2. Interview with the jury discussing various topics or technical questions. Open to candidates scoring at least 10/20 on the sports test.

Location and Results

The contest will take place on Sunday, September 20, 2026, in Rabat and other cities to be determined based on the candidate's residence. The lists of invited candidates and results will be published on the ministry's website (www.finances.gov.ma), the public employment portal (www.emploi-public.ma), and the customs website (www.douane.gov.ma). Successful candidates will also receive an invitation by email.

Note: 25% of positions are reserved for individuals with the status of resistance fighter, ward of the nation, former military, or former combatant.
