Details of the Recruitment Competition for Technician 4th Grade

The commune of Sidi Yacoub, in the province of Azilal, announces a recruitment competition to fill 2 positions of technician (4th grade, scale 8) for the year 2026. This competition aims to select qualified candidates in various technical fields to strengthen the commune's workforce and improve public services.

Required Specialties

The competition is open to candidates holding a technician diploma from vocational training institutes or an equivalent recognized diploma, in the following specialties:

• Civil Engineering - Public Works
• Heavy Construction - Site Management
• Computer Science - IT Development
• Information Systems Management

Eligibility Conditions

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Moroccan nationality
• Enjoy civil rights and be physically and mentally fit for public service
• Be at least 18 years old and at most 40 years old on January 1, 2026 (the upper age limit may be extended by the duration of valid or validatable services for retirement, up to 45 years)
• Hold a technician diploma in one of the required specialties or an equivalent recognized diploma

A quota of 25% of positions is reserved for persons with the status of resistance fighter, national ward, or former military; and 7% for persons with disabilities holding a disability card.

Application File

The application file must include the following documents:

• A handwritten application stating full name, address, and phone number
• A copy of the technician diploma or equivalence certificate
• A copy of the national identity card
• A medical certificate proving physical fitness
• A criminal record extract (bulletin n°3)
• Two stamped envelopes with the applicant's address
• For candidates with resistance, ward, former military, or disability status, the corresponding supporting documents

Applications must be submitted to the human resources department of Sidi Yacoub commune against a receipt, or sent by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt to: Commune de Sidi Yacoub, Caïdat de Tidili Fetouaka, Province d'Azilal. The submission period begins from the publication of this decision until Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 4:30 PM.

Competition Date and Location

The competition will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 9:00 AM at Al-Khawarizmi Middle School in Sidi Yacoub, or at other institutions if necessary. It includes a written test and an oral or practical test. The list of accepted candidates will be published on the public employment website www.emploi-public.ma and on the portal of the General Directorate of Local Authorities; this publication serves as a summons.
