Recruitment Competition: IT & Cybersecurity Risk Analyst

Bank Al-Maghrib, the central bank of Morocco, is recruiting an IT & Cybersecurity Risk Analyst to join its Information Systems Directorate. This full-time position is based in Salé and offers a unique opportunity to work in a challenging environment focused on protecting critical financial infrastructure.

Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Information Systems Directorate, you will be responsible for preventing, detecting, and responding to vulnerabilities and cyber threats. Key tasks include:

• Monitoring IT vulnerabilities and cybersecurity threats.
• Analyzing security events from monitoring tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS).
• Designing and implementing detection scenarios.
• Managing cybersecurity incidents, including escalation and remediation.
• Conducting digital investigations and collaborating with CERTs/CSIRTs.

Candidate Requirements

• Moroccan nationality and under 40 years old.
• Master's degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Professional certifications (CHFI, SANS) are a plus.

Desired Skills

• Proficiency in Unix, Windows, network protocols.
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash).
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, APT detection tools.
• Threat intelligence analysis (IOCs).
• Strong analytical and teamwork skills.
