The upper age limit may be extended by a period equivalent to valid service periods for retirement purposes, without exceeding 45 years. 25% of positions are reserved for former resistance fighters, nation's wards, or former military personnel, and 7% for disabled persons holding a disability card.
The application submission period begins from the date of the decision's publication and continues until March 20, 2026 at 4:30 PM. Application files must be deposited at the registry office of Gharbia Commune or sent by registered mail. The written test will take place on April 19, 2026 at 10:00 AM at the primary school in Gharbia center, with possible designation of other locations later if necessary.
The competition includes a written test and an oral or practical test or both. The written test for electricity technicians lasts 2 hours with a coefficient of 2, covering general subjects or multiple-choice questions related to job functions. The oral or practical test lasts 45 minutes with a coefficient of 1, aiming to assess the candidate's ability to perform tasks in the electricity specialty. Any score equal to or below 5/20 in the written test is considered eliminatory.
