The Gharbia Territorial Commune under Sidi Bennour Province announces the opening of a recruitment competition for the position of Grade 4 Scale 8 technician, specializing in electricity. Basic Competition Information

This competition is organized according to several legislative texts, including Dahir No. 85-15-1 dated 20 Ramadan 1436 corresponding to July 15, 2015 implementing Law No. 113-14 regulating communes, and Decree No. 11-621-2 dated 28 Dhu al-Hijjah 1432 corresponding to November 25, 2011 specifying the conditions and procedures for organizing recruitment competitions in public positions. It also relies on Decree No. 738-77-2 dated 13 Shawwal 1397 corresponding to September 27, 1977 regarding the special statute for commune personnel.

Participation Requirements

Candidates must be Moroccan nationals, aged at least 18 years and not more than 40 years as of January 1, 2026. The upper age limit may be extended by a period equivalent to valid service periods for retirement purposes, without exceeding 45 years. 25% of positions are reserved for former resistance fighters, nation's wards, or former military personnel, and 7% for disabled persons holding a disability card.

• A copy of the diploma in the required specialty or an equivalent certificate according to current regulatory provisions.
• A copy of the national identity card.
• Two stamped envelopes bearing the candidate's personal address.
• Authorization from the employing administration for civil servant candidates.
• A certificate of registration on disability lists for disabled candidates.
• Any documents proving scientific competencies or professional experience as required.

Competition Schedule

The application submission period begins from the date of the decision's publication and continues until March 20, 2026 at 4:30 PM. Application files must be deposited at the registry office of Gharbia Commune or sent by registered mail. The written test will take place on April 19, 2026 at 10:00 AM at the primary school in Gharbia center, with possible designation of other locations later if necessary.

Examination Structure

The competition includes a written test and an oral or practical test or both. The written test for electricity technicians lasts 2 hours with a coefficient of 2, covering general subjects or multiple-choice questions related to job functions. The oral or practical test lasts 45 minutes with a coefficient of 1, aiming to assess the candidate's ability to perform tasks in the electricity specialty. Any score equal to or below 5/20 in the written test is considered eliminatory.
