Recruitment Competition for State Engineers at the Regional Agricultural Development Office of Haouz

The Regional Agricultural Development Office of Haouz (ORMVAH) announces a recruitment competition to fill six (06) positions of State Engineer, 1st grade, scale 11, for the year 2026. This competition aims to strengthen the office's qualified workforce and support agricultural development in the Marrakech region.

Required Specialties

• Rural Engineering or Hydraulic Engineering: 2 positions (Haouz office services in Marrakech).
• Civil Engineering: 1 position (Haouz office services in Marrakech).
• Animal Production – Zootechnics or Animal Production Engineering: 2 positions (Haouz office services in Marrakech).
• Horticulture or Fruit Tree Growing, Olive Growing and Viticulture or Sciences and Techniques in Fruit Production: 1 position (Haouz office services in El Kelâa des Sraghna).

Eligibility Criteria

The competition is open to candidates of both sexes, aged between 18 and 45 years, holding a State Engineer degree or equivalent from Moroccan or foreign schools, institutes, or universities. Foreign degrees must be accompanied by an equivalence decision from the Ministry of Higher Education.

A quota of 7% of positions is reserved for persons with disabilities, and 25% for former resistance fighters or former military personnel, where applicable.

• A copy of the National Identity Card.
• A copy of the engineer degree or equivalent, along with a copy of the equivalence decision for foreign degrees.
• A copy of a certificate proving status as a resistance fighter, former military, or ward of the nation (if applicable).
• A copy of a certificate proving disability status (if applicable).
• Translation of foreign degrees into Arabic or French.

Second, submit the physical file in a large envelope bearing the competition name and number, to the registry of ORMVAH in Marrakech, or send it by registered mail. The deadline for applications is May 26, 2026, at 4:30 PM.

Competition Tests

• Written test: on the required specialty, duration 3 hours, coefficient 4.
• Oral test: on topics and issues related to the position, duration 20 minutes, coefficient 3.

The list of candidates admitted to the written test will be published on the portal www.emploi-public.ma and becomes final after the appeal period. The list of candidates eligible for the oral test and the location will also be published on the same portal.

Additional Information

ORMVAH is a public institution under the Ministry of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development, and Water and Forests. It works on agricultural development in the Haouz region through irrigation projects, infrastructure, and technical support to farmers. The State Engineer position offers a competitive salary ranging from 9,400 to 10,600 MAD per month, according to scale 11.
