Recruitment Competition for Senior Professors at Ibn Zohr University

The President of Ibn Zohr University in Agadir announces a recruitment competition for senior professors (Professeurs Agrégés) for the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Laayoune (06 positions) for the session of June 15, 2026. This initiative aims to strengthen the academic and clinical staff in the southern region of Morocco.

Required Specialties

• Civil Candidates:
  • Psychiatry: 1 position
  • Endocrinology: 1 position
  • Traumatology: 1 position
• Military Candidates:
  • Cardiology: 1 position
  • Ophthalmology: 1 position
  • Otorhinolaryngology: 1 position

Eligibility Conditions

Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:

1. Be an assistant professor with at least three years of effective practice in the specialty (for those who completed their residency), or a master assistant with four years of practice, or three years for those from foreign military hospital specialization.
2. Be a civil or military doctor or pharmacist who has practiced abroad in hospital-university functions equivalent to an assistant professor for at least four years, or two years as a head of clinic in a university hospital completed in Morocco.

Application File

The application must be sent to the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Laayoune before May 16, 2026, and includes:

• An application letter with name, address, and desired specialty.
• Certificate of experience (4 years as master assistant or 3 years as assistant professor).
• Copy of national ID card.
• Copy of the ministerial decree of appointment.
• All official documents proving titles, services, and teaching activities.
• A portfolio of scientific works in 7 paper copies and one digital copy.
