Recruitment competition for two specialized technicians at Maghreb Arab Press Agency

The Maghreb Arab Press Agency (MAP), a strategic public establishment based in Rabat, is organizing a recruitment competition for two (02) specialized technicians (statutory, scale 09) within the Information Systems Directorate. The competition will take place on June 7, 2026. Interested candidates must apply online via http://candidature.map.ma before May 15, 2026, quoting the reference of the call for applications.

First position: Specialized technician in network, telecoms and digital infrastructure

This role involves installing, configuring and administering active equipment of the LAN/WAN network infrastructure (routers, switches, access points, etc.), administering and maintaining IP and hybrid telephone systems (Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco), rearranging and maintaining the precabling network, incident handling, report and dashboard creation, and auditing the MAP LAN network infrastructure.

Required profile for the first position

• Bac+2 degree in Network, Telecoms and Digital Infrastructure.
• Two (02) years of experience in a similar position required.
• Good knowledge of IP and hybrid telephony systems (Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco, etc.).
• Good knowledge of computer networks (configuration, addressing plan, routing, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of SDN networks.
• CCNA or HCNA certification is a plus.
• Alcatel-Lucent ACFE OMNIPCX ENTERPRISE certification is a plus.

Second position: Specialized technician in IT

This role includes providing support and assistance to all MAP users (headquarters, support building, BNP, and all regional and international hubs), supervising information systems 24/7, ensuring proper helpdesk operation, training users, managing the IT fleet, applying security best practices, and fostering technical skills development within the department.

Required profile for the second position

• Bac+2 degree in IT.
• Proficiency in Windows, Linux and macOS.
• Knowledge of Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VPN, Wi-Fi, LAN/WAN.
• Configuration of workstations and printers on the network.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Remote control tools (AnyDesk, TeamViewer, VNC, etc.).
• Proficiency in ticketing software (GLPI).
• Service orientation and active listening.
• Pedagogical skills to assist non-technical users.
• Ability to prioritize requests.
• Rigor and respect for procedures.
• Teamwork ability.

General conditions for participation

• Moroccan nationality.
• Under 40 years old on the competition date.
• No criminal conviction.
• Enjoy civil rights and good moral character.
• Not listed in the central disciplinary record of public administrations.
• Not having benefited from voluntary retirement.
• Hold the required degree.
• Two years of experience required for the first profile.

Competition process

The competition includes a pre-selection based on applications, followed by written exams (general essay: 2 hours, coefficient 3; technical questionnaire: 1h30, coefficient 2). Successful candidates proceed to an oral interview (30 minutes, coefficient 7) with personality tests. Results are published on the MAP website and on emploi-public.ma.
