Recruitment Competition for 2 Grade 2 Administrators at the Ministry of Interior

The Ministry of Interior, through the Prefecture of Nador Province, announces the opening of applications for a recruitment competition to fill two (2) budgeted positions for grade 2 administrators, in the legal sciences stream, specializing in administrative sciences. This professional opportunity represents a significant step to join the territorial administration apparatus and contribute to the missions of a key institution in implementing public policies and ensuring security and stability.

Competition Details and Eligibility Criteria

The competition is scheduled for Sunday, March 29, 2026, at the Multidisciplinary Faculty of Nador, with the possibility of designating additional centers later if needed. The competition is open to candidates of Moroccan nationality, aged at least 18 years and not more than 45 years as of January 1 of the current year. The fundamental requirement for registration is to hold, mandatorily at the time of application submission, a diploma of advanced graduate studies (DESA), a specialized graduate studies diploma (DESS), a master's or specialized master's degree in administrative sciences, or an equivalent diploma according to applicable regulations.

Quota System and Positive Discrimination

A quota of 25% of the budgeted positions in the competition is reserved for persons with the status of resistance fighter, nation's dependent, former military personnel, or former combatant. A quota of 7% of the positions is also reserved for persons with disabilities holding a disability card (AI). This system reflects the state's commitment to a policy of positive discrimination and inclusion of categories that have contributed to the nation or require special support.

Competition Tests

The competition consists of two main tests:

  • Written Test: Lasting three (3) hours, this test may take the form of a general subject or multiple-choice questions (MCQ). The questions focus on the tasks and functions to be filled, on the responsibilities of the Ministry of Interior, or directly on the required specialties (administrative sciences).
  • Oral Test: Lasting between 15 and 30 minutes, it involves an interview with the jury on various topics. The aim is to assess the candidate's ability to perform the functions associated with the grade in question, as well as their analytical and communication skills.
Only candidates who obtain a score of at least 12 out of 20 in the written test are eligible to take the oral test.

Registration Procedure and Required Documents

All candidates must register mandatorily via the public employment website (https://depot.emploi-public.ma/) during the period from February 18 to March 4, 2026, by 3:00 PM at the latest. When registering, the application must be accompanied by the following documents:

  • A copy of the required diploma (master's or equivalent in administrative sciences).
  • A copy of the national identity card.
  • The candidate's curriculum vitae.

Important Notes and Special Procedures

Several important points require candidates' attention:

  • A specialization certificate alone is not considered; the basic diploma is what counts.
  • For foreign diplomas or those issued by private institutions, the equivalence decision published in the Official Gazette must be attached, along with the diplomas specified in that decision.
  • Candidates already employed in public administrations must, in addition to electronic registration, submit a request to participate in the competition accompanied by the final approval from the human resources department of their administration.
  • Candidates with the status of resistance fighter, nation's dependent, former military personnel, or former combatant must submit their applications through the administrations responsible for their affairs, in addition to electronic registration within the deadlines.
  • Candidates with disabilities will later need to provide a certificate issued by the Ministry of Solidarity, Women, Family, and Social Development.
  • Candidates definitively admitted are required to complete their files with all regulatory administrative documents necessary for appointment to the public service.

Information about the Profession and Career Path

The grade 2 administrator works within the administrative framework of the Ministry of Interior, participating in administrative and financial management tasks, report preparation, implementation of local development projects, and support for the ministry's external services. The profession requires a deep understanding of legal and regulatory texts, skills in analysis and planning, and the ability to work in a team. The career path offers opportunities for advancement to higher responsibility positions within the administrative scale.

Publication of Results and Follow-up

The lists of candidates admitted to take the tests are published on the public employment website (www.emploi-public.ma), with this publication serving as an official summons. The results of the written test and the final competition results, including the waiting list, are also published on this portal. The committee may disseminate these results through all available means. If a successful candidate is found not to meet a condition, they are replaced by a candidate from the waiting list according to merit and order.

This competition represents a valuable opportunity to serve the public interest within a vital sector. We advise candidates to prepare thoroughly for the tests, review the responsibilities of the Ministry of Interior and current developments in administrative sciences, and ensure compliance with all conditions and accuracy of attached documents within the specified deadlines.
