Job Offer: Civil Engineering Framework at SMIT
The Moroccan Company for Tourism Engineering (SMIT) is recruiting a Civil Engineering Framework for the Aghroud tourism development project. This is a fixed-term project contract based in Agadir or Rabat, offering a chance to work on a major national tourism initiative.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will:
- Participate in the preparation, launch, and monitoring of contracts for studies, works, and technical services.
- Ensure technical follow-up of civil engineering, roadworks, and infrastructure studies and works.
- Oversee work execution while ensuring compliance with costs, deadlines, quality, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate interventions of design offices, architects, contractors, laboratories, and control offices.
- Ensure compliance with technical standards, regulatory requirements, and contract specifications.
- Identify technical risks and propose corrective actions.
- Participate in the handover of works and follow-up on the lifting of reservations.
- Prepare dashboards, reports, and technical notes.
Required Profile
- Master's degree (Bac+5) in Civil Engineering, Building, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in civil engineering, building, or infrastructure projects.
- Mandatory fluency in Arabic and French; English is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering, building, roadworks, and development techniques.
- Good understanding of public works contract procedures.
- Proficiency in project planning tools (MS Project or equivalent).
- AutoCAD and office software skills.
- Experience in tourism development or large infrastructure projects is an asset.
