Key Responsibilities and Duties

The Procurement Officer will be responsible for various essential tasks ensuring smooth procurement operations. These responsibilities include:

  • Implementing the defined procurement strategy through acquisition of products and services needed by the institution
  • Evaluating needs expressed by internal clients while providing appropriate support
  • Processing purchase requests through launching tenders and consultations with external providers
  • Monitoring contract execution while ensuring compliance with administrative and financial contractual clauses
  • Preparing the "expenditure" component of the budget project
  • Conducting continuous market monitoring of products and services available
  • Producing regular reporting on objectives, achievements, performance and maintaining budget follow-up

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • University degree at Bac+5 level in Law or Finance
  • University diploma, business school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years professional experience, ideally in public procurement management
  • Strong mastery of professional concepts and writing techniques related to procurement

  • Strong sense of confidentiality and discretion
