OFPPT Morocco Seeks IT Development Division Head (1 Position)

Job Announcement

The Office of Vocational Training and Employment Promotion (OFPPT) is recruiting a Head of the IT Development Division (Chef de la Division Développement Informatique) for its headquarters in Casablanca. This is a key leadership role within the Organization and Information Systems Directorate.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the IT development engineering policy.
• Support business departments in drafting functional and technical specifications.
• Develop and/or integrate applications for business departments.
• Monitor the urbanization of the information system.
• Enrich and finalize the application and functional needs mapping.
• Lead the implementation of the IT Master Plan.
• Conduct audits in software quality and development methods.
• Establish quality standards and procedures, and implement a quality assurance plan.
• Manage contracts and relationships with service companies in the sector.

Required Profile

External Candidates:

• Engineering degree or equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or information systems (qualifying for grade 11).
• At least 5 years of professional experience in managing and implementing IT projects.
• Under 45 years of age at the time of hiring.
• Moroccan nationality.

OFPPT Employees:

• Permanent employee classified at grade 19 minimum, or by derogation at grade 16 with at least 10 years of service in category C or higher.
• Engineering degree or equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or information systems.
• At least 5 years of experience in managing and implementing IT projects.
