Morocco Water Ministry Opens 2 Chief of Service Positions at Hydraulics Directorate

The Ministry of Equipment and Water (Ministère de l'Équipement et de l'Eau) has announced the opening of two managerial positions (chief of service) within the central services of the General Directorate of Hydraulics. This recruitment aims to strengthen administrative and technical capabilities by selecting qualified candidates from among the ministry's civil servants and contract agents.

Available Positions

The two positions are:

• Chief of the Hydrometeorological Changes Monitoring Service at the Directorate of Water Research and Planning.
• Another chief of service position (not specified in the decree).

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following conditions depending on their category:

Category 1: Civil servants and contract agents

• Be ranked at least as an inspector (grade 2) or engineer, or in an equivalent grade.
• Hold a degree or diploma allowing access to inspector grade 3 or equivalent.
• Have at least two years of actual service as a civil servant, or three years for contract agents.

Category 2: Civil servants already serving as chief of service

The candidate must have been performing the duties of a chief of service at the date of the vacancy announcement.

Category 3: Civil servants with seniority

Be ranked as inspector grade 3 (or equivalent) with at least 15 years of actual service, including at least 4 years in that grade.

Application File

The application file must include:

1. A written request addressed to the head of administration.
2. A completed application file using the two forms attached to the decree: a CV (form NP-MV3) and a work plan and methodology (form NP-MVA).
3. An opinion from the direct supervisor on the candidate's professional competence.

Incomplete files, those submitted after the deadline, or through any means other than specified will be rejected.

How to Apply

Applications must be submitted exclusively against a receipt at the Office of Financial and General Affairs of the General Directorate of Hydraulics, in five copies, before 4:30 PM on July 23, 2026.

Selection Process

A committee appointed by a decision of the minister will pre-select eligible files and conduct interviews.
