The Regional Project Execution Agency of the Casablanca-Settat region (AREP-CS) is seeking applications for the position of Management Control Department Head. About the Organization

AREP-CS is a public agency established under the legal framework governing Moroccan regions, including Dahir n° 1-15-83 and regional council deliberations. It operates under the presidency of the Casablanca-Settat Regional Council and focuses on executing development projects across the region. The Management Control Department reports directly to the Agency Director, highlighting its strategic importance in organizational governance.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating budget planning and monitoring execution, including identifying and analyzing budgetary needs.
  • Driving and measuring agency performance through dashboard development and management indicators.
  • Producing regular management reports and continuously monitoring indicators to assess activity.
  • Analyzing variances between objectives and achievements, proposing corrective measures, and tracking implementation.
  • Implementing and managing analytical accounting systems, ensuring consistency with general accounting.
  • Participating in tender committees as chairperson or member.

Required Qualifications and Profile

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Master's degree (Bac+5) from a business school, university, or engineering school in Finance, Accounting, Management Control, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in financial, accounting, or management control fields, including at least 2 years in a leadership position in public or private organizations, or 7 years of experience in these areas.
  • Essential personal qualities: rigor, organizational skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, proactivity, and anticipation capacity.
