Career Leadership Opportunities at Midelt Municipality

Midelt Municipality, under the jurisdiction of Midelt Province Prefecture of the Ministry of Interior, announces the opening of applications for two vacant leadership positions within its administrative structure. This exceptional opportunity is directed toward permanent civil servants and contract agents working in state administrations and territorial collectivities, who possess the necessary experience and competence to lead vital departments within the municipal administration.

Available Positions

Two leadership positions are announced according to the decision issued by the President of Midelt Municipal Council:

  • Head of Human Resources and Finance Department: Responsible for managing human and financial resources of the municipality.
  • Head of Economic, Cultural, Sports Affairs and Equipment Department: Responsible for developing economic, cultural, and sports aspects and managing equipment.

Application Requirements

Candidates must meet the following conditions:

  • Be classified at least at the level of 2nd grade administrator or within the state engineer framework or in an equivalent grade.
  • Hold a certificate or diploma allowing access to 3rd grade administrator or equivalent level.
  • Have at least two years of service for permanent civil servants or three years for contract agents in state administrations and territorial collectivities.
  • Permanent civil servants and contract agents currently performing department head functions may also apply.
  • Exceptionally, permanent civil servants and contract agents classified at 3rd grade administrator or equivalent level may apply if they have at least 15 years of actual service, including at least 4 years in the mentioned grade.

Application File Composition

Candidates must submit the following file:

  • Application request accompanied by municipal president approval and opinion on candidate competence.
  • Information form with recent photograph including qualifications and professional background.
  • Work program and proposed methodology for managing and developing municipal administration.
  • Copy of national identity card.
  • Certified copies of certificates and diplomas.
  • Copy of classification decision in required framework or grade.
  • Copy of appointment decision to leadership position if available.

Submission Deadlines and Location

Application files can be obtained from the municipal registry office starting from the decision publication date. Files must be submitted in four copies of each document at the municipal registry office against receipt, during regular working hours of public administrations. The final deadline for accepting applications is March 25, 2026 at 4:30 PM.

Selection Process

A dedicated committee will handle the selection of eligible files, and the date and location of selection interviews will be announced through official publication channels. This decision is published at the municipal headquarters, on the public employment electronic portal (www.emploi-public.ma) and on the website of the General Directorate of Territorial Collectivities.
