Job Opportunity: Financial Manager at ONCF

The National Railway Office (ONCF) announces a recruitment competition for the position of Financial Manager as part of regular recruitment. Key Responsibilities

The Financial Manager will undertake strategic responsibilities crucial to the financial health of the organization. Primary duties include:

  • Supervising general and analytical accounting activities while ensuring financial data reliability
  • Contributing to payroll management and monitoring auxiliary accounts with appropriate controls and analysis
  • Developing, monitoring, and optimizing budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
  • Managing treasury operations and financial flows while maintaining relationships with banking partners
  • Ensuring financial statement compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Overseeing administrative and legal follow-up of contracts and tax/social obligations
  • Supervising and leading the administrative and financial team
  • Coordinating with various departments and contributing to strategic decision-making

Required Qualifications

Ideal candidates for this position should meet the following criteria:

  • Master's degree (Bac+5) in Finance, Accounting, or Management Control
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the financial field, ideally as a financial manager
  • Proficiency in general and analytical accounting as well as budget management
  • Strong knowledge of treasury operations, financial flows, and accounting/tax standards
  • Financial analysis skills and ability to interpret key performance indicators
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with specialized financial tools/ERP systems
